Stamp Gum

Materials needed:

1 packet (1/4 oz.) unflavored gelatin
1 TBS. cold water
3 TBS. boiling water
1/2 tsp. white corn syrup
1/2 tsp. lemon extract

Instructions:

1) In a small bowl, put cold water and sprinkle gelatin. Allow to soften.

2) Add boiling water and stir until completely dissolved.

3) Add corn syrup and lemon extract and mix well.

Makes approx. 4 ounces. Store in a pill bottle. Gum will gel overnight. To return to a liquid state, warm container in a pan of hot water. Use a paint brush to apply gum to back of stamp and allow to dry. Moisten the stamp when ready to apply to paper.
