Making Pins Using Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel
Submitted by: Tonya Rilling of Buffalo Stampede Art Stamps

Take either a piece of corrugated cardboard or mat board cut to the finished size. Rub your embossing pad or pigment ink (this will show through) and cover the top side of the base. Pour enamel (clear or colored) all over the surface and heat. While this is still hot pour on more enamel, heat and repeat.

You may add "beedz", glitter, etc. on hot layers. Do 3 or 4 layers of enamel. On the last layer have a pre-inked stamp (with embossing fluid or pigment ink) ready and stamp it into the hot enamel. Embellish with Rub 'n Buff or Pearl X after cool and then seal with glitter spray or sealer. Now you have a gorgeous pin or magnet with a metallic finish.
